Thanks for stopping by this leg of the Regency Christmas blog hop presented by Astraea Press! For my part, I'd like to introduce you to my Christmas Regency Two Turtledoves, the story of Baldwyn Sinclair and Anastasia Trent.
Baldwyn Sinclair, the Duke of Paisley, returns to London in
the dead of winter at the request of his overbearing grandmother to find she
has made a betrothal contract on his behalf... without his knowledge. Now he is
to be married to none other than the girl who used to throw mud at him in order
to gain his attention.
He is not happy about the prospect, but he is nothing if not
devoted to duty.
Anastasia Trent has been in love with the Duke of Paisley
since she was seven years old and has spent her life pining for him,
fantasizing about the moment they would see each other again. But when he makes
it clear that her imaginings are in vain, her disappointment drives her into
the arms of a dangerous man.
It is up to Baldwyn to rescue her once again, to save her
from herself, and to find perhaps, along the way, exactly what his own heart
was looking for.
Now for the giveaway! In order to qualify for an entry, leave me a comment about your favorite Christmas tradition. On December 10th, I'll choose three winners at random to give a free ecopy of Two Turtledoves. Already read it? Never fear! I'll let you pick any of my other titles as an alternate. Thanks again for stopping by!
Say hi to Astraea Press's New York Times bestselling author Rachel Van Dyken for me! She's next on the blog hop!
My favorite tradition is the 24 days of Christmas we place a Christ centered ornament on our tree every night and have a story behind it. Its my fav because our children get super excited and love to put it on a tree that is on our mantel that is only Christ centered. Having 5 kids the holidays are always fun. Thanks for a chance to win

That's a cool tradition, Krista! How old are your kids?
DeleteFavorite Christmas Tradition is having cake with the entire family. It's the one time of the year when we forget about sugar/diet restrictions and just enjoy whichever cake we all decide to get. (Last year it was Carrot Cake. ^_^)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!

ReplyDeleteMy family has lot of Christmas traditions. On the 23rd we all gather to go to the forest and pick out Christmas trees for my parents, my sis' family and me. We do not bring in the trees (or put them up like many people do) before he 23rd. Anyway, usually it is family event in a snowy forest with sledging, looking for suitable trees and hot drinks and a winter picnic. After we have found our trees, we drive home and decorate them.

DeleteOne of my favorite Christmas traditions is when me and my family sit down together at night and watch a Christmas movie. Some of our favorites are It's a Wonderful Life, White Christmas and Christmas Vacation =)
ReplyDeleteIt's a Wonderful Life is my all time favorite! Thanks for stopping by, Liz!
DeleteMy favorite Christmas tradition is my children and their families gathering at my home on Christmas Eve for dinner and opening of gifts and playing games. Then we all trek out to Midnight Mass and celebrate the Reason for the Season together with hymns and the beautiful Christmas liturgy. We've always had family Christmas Eve together since I was a child myself and this is one family tradition we love.
